YouTube Compared To Twitch

Former Twitch Star Rachel Hofstetter also known as Valkyrae shared about what she misses most about Twitch now that she’s streaming on YouTube. She revealed about the changes coming to YouTube’s streams.

During Valkyrae’s March 11th stream, she told her viewers about what she misses most from her time on twitch. She compared the two platforms and described YouTube as hard to use. According to her, there is no emote culture and hosting on YouTube. She said that there is no directory on it. She doesn’t even know who’s streaming because she can’t find people.

She shared that the biggest difference between the two is that YouTube is really left behind and so far from Twitch but she said that YouTube is working it out. She also shared about how she misses the emote culture on twitch and chat culture. She said she believes that interacting and communicating with the viewers really carries the streamer and that’s something YouTube hasn’t given as of now.

Valkyrae said that even when YouTube keeps up with the number one streaming platform Twitch, and makes changes about it’s features, it will still be harder for them to replicate what Twitch has built for over the years.

The comparison made by Valkyrae doesn’t change the fact that she is now part of the YouTube community and she assured that she’s happy being part of it. She just shared her opinion about what she misses most about her former streaming platform but as of now, she is happy on YouTube.
