Sapnap Signs With Kick

Online users were astonished when Minecraft legend Nicholas “Sapnap” revealed he has joined Stake-backed livestreaming service Kick.

He posted a one-minute long video of a neon light plate bearing his Twitch handle tumbling off the wall on Twitter. He ultimately tossed it away and put another light plate with his Kick username on it in its stead. Since then, the announcement has become the most trending subject on Twitter. A number of well-known content producers have also offered their thoughts on the news, with Clay “Dream” saying: “GG.”

In less than a year, Kick has achieved significant advancements in the livestreaming sector, and several well-known individuals have joined the site. On March 29, 2023, American Chess Grandmaster Hikaru “GMHikaru” joined, starting the signing frenzy. Three months later, Kick made a startling revelation when it revealed that Felix “xQc,” a former Overwatch professional, had signed a two-year, non-exclusive deal with the platform for an incredible $100 million. After accepting a $30 million Kick agreement, well-known ASMR and Just Chatting content creator Kaitlyn “Amouranth” followed suit. Yousef “Fousey,” another well-known internet personality, said on August 7, 2023 that he has also joined the platform supported by Trainwreckstv.

Kick made news once more earlier today when Sapnap revealed that he, too, is now a member of the platform’s roster in a tweet with the message “ready to kick a*s.” As was previously indicated, the announcement quickly gained popularity on social media. Fellow Minecraft streamer Luke “Punz” commented: “Kicknap.”
