xQc Versus His Own Fans

Famous Twitch Streamer Felix Lengyel also known as xQc hit back when a claim circulated that the rust phase of his career was over and that he only used the game to boost his viewership.

The multiplayer game called Rust has recently become famous when OfflineTV made a server and including different twitch stars. The game has been around since 2013 but only gathered attention in 2020.

Since Rust is popular again , xQc is playing it nonstop and streaming it on his channel but his last stream on January 15th gathered lots of questions from his viewers. The streamer decided to not play the game and his fans asked if the Rust phase on his channel had come to an end.

xQc’s response to one of his fans that asked if he’s giving up the Rust hype was that he’s a variety streamer that can play whatever game he wants. He also said that he’s just chilling and so they asked if he thought that the current phase would end. He emphasized that he can play whenever and whatever he wants, hype or not. If it feels good to him, or if he’s enjoying it, he will play it.

He even said that before the ‘rust phase’ even happened, he actually thought of making his own server. He was obviously annoyed by the question but still answered so that it would clear things up. xQc was also accused of playing the game just to boost viewers knowing that he’s already famous and he normally has lots of viewers even before the rust hype even began.

Rust is a popular game right now but that doesn’t mean that all streamers must play the game nonstop and that they aren’t able to play different games.
