xQc Stops Gambling on Twitch

Twitch star Felix Lengyel aka xQc opens up during a recent game of Valorant that he is absolutely done with the gambling streams and he was completely stopping it as he claimed that he was getting addicted to it. Gambling streams on the Amazon-owned streaming platform have been a bone of contention for a while now. With some streamers such as Moistcr1tikal sharing their opinion on the matter stating that he thinks streamers throwing around a lot of cash while gambling could be a “dangerous” trend to set.

Also, Popular finance and esports writer Ollie Ring has revealed that xQc’s gambling streams were completely illegal and were directly against Texas state law, which is where xQc currently resides. While xQc has defended these on several occasions, it seems like he took a complete u-turn during his recent stream. xQc stated that he is “absolutely done with them” after revealing that he was getting addicted to them. xQc took up gambling streams after his stint with the RP server came to an end. From the looks of it, his gambling streams are also coming to an abrupt end.

He stated during the stream; “We’re not doing gambling. I’m done with it. I’m absolutely done with it. I get addicted to things very, very easily. I noticed that my brain is kind of going crazy so I have to stop the gambling streams.” xQc’s last Slots stream was on June 1st and it peaked at just under 110,000 viewers. xQc still has commands for gambling in his Twitch chat, but none of them stake real money; instead, they just use chat points to bet on the broadcast.
