xQc Received His Biggest Donation

Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, a well-known Twitch streamer, has pretty much seen all there is to witness in the world of live broadcasting, but on January 30, he was taken aback after receiving his largest gift to date.

Big donations are not a novel idea on Twitch; several broadcasters have received several thousand dollars all at once from their biggest followers, which is advantageous for them because they receive the full donation amount without having to pay Twitch a percentage. VTuber AeriytheNeko received a stunning $200k donation from a Twitch fan in 2021, which truly changed Aeriy’s life. However, in more recent times, especially since the introduction of Bits and Gifted Subs, these large gifts haven’t been as prevalent. Instead, viewers prefer to give subscriptions to their favorite streamers.

Following the viewing of a documentary about well-known YouTuber SteveWillDoIt, xQc was given a donation of just under $10,000. His first expression of confusion was “what the f**k?” He continued, “Wait, dude… I think that’s my top [donation] of all time. Bro, you’re insane, no shot.”

He went on to confirm the donation’s authenticity and was confident it was true, implying that it was made by an entity rather than simply one person, albeit it wasn’t entirely apparent who that entity was. He continued to thank the donor repeatedly before moving on to his stream. Donors giving large sums of money before charging it back through PayPal have obviously been a major problem in the past; however, it remains to be seen whether this will happen with xQc.
