xQc Quitting Gambling Streams

Popular twitch streamer Felix Lengyel aka xQc reveals that he will stop his gambling streams on twitch for the reason of becoming addicted to it. He also went on to reveal how many people have used his code to sign in to gambling.

Gambling streams on twitch has become a hot topic on twitch in the past recent weeks with several numbers on streamers and content creators have been receiving sponsorships to do gambling on their channel. Twitch streamer Felix Lengyel aka xQc was one of the biggest streamers on twitch who partake in sponsored gambling streams. With him being one of the most popular streamers, he regularly hit a massive audience of more than 100k viewers on his channel whenever he played different casino games.

Some streamers and content creators have been sharing their opinion regarding the matter with others calling for the streamers who partake in gambling streams to stop as they are promoting the gambling sites to their viewers.

xQc recently revealed that he will be stopping his gambling streams altogether and he revealed the reason why during his june 28th live broadcast. In the stream, xQc shares that he will be stopping gambling as he is becoming slightly addicted to it and made some missteps in the process. He said that on a number of occasions, his streams would be labeled as an ad, even though the portion of the stream that was meant to be an ad came to an end, and he was just playing because he couldn’t really stop.

Then he further apologized for advertising the gambling and went on to admit that he didn’t take enough steps to warn his viewers about the pitfalls of it. He said; “I genuinely feel like I’m slightly, if not moderately, addicted, and it’s really bad. I hope that anybody who started gamba is going to quit, and I’m sorry for hardcore exposing it to people.” What’s even more shocking is that xQc revealed that he got nearly 2000 people to use his referral link to join the site, with nearly 600 of those being first-timers when it comes to depositing money to play.

Some fans will no doubt be disappointed the streams are coming to a close, but if the streamer has found himself addicted, it’s better to quit and move on as quickly as possible.
