xQc Quits $10K Valorant Tournament

Popular Twitch Streamer Felix Lengyel AKA xQc backed out/quit a valorant tournament with the winning prize of $10,000 and many numerous content creators and top names joined him after facing several while playing.

xQc is a well-known former professional Overwatch player and competing at the highest level in esports is not new to him. He has lots of experience playing in a tournament but he seems to have put that life behind him now.

According to xQc, all the minor pains and nuisance that comes with competing is the main reason why he put it all behind and he made that clear last June 16th BoomTV Valorant Tournament called $10K Valorant Code Red.

Several top names were involved and fighting for the top spot knowing that there’s $10K on the line but xQc still decided to back out of it not just once but twice.

xQc and his team started the tournament 1-2 but soon felt exasperated by the level of players they were coming up against and soon forfeit themselves rather than continue to play and go through it. Before long, he and his team got back to the game after deliberating and opt to finish out their games and not let the tournament organizers down but that didn’t last too long because he and his team couldn’t find a fifth player and xQc got impatient and said that he’s out and said that he can’t do it and apologized that he can’t really do it.

He decided to jump on GTA where he can play with less waiting around.

The said tournament still happened and was eventually won by the team captain of 100 Thieves Warzone streamer Rhys Price AKA Rated and took home the winning prize of $10K.
