xQc Orders Uber Eats

Numerous Twitch streamers, including Felix “xQc” Lengyel, a regular stat leader who occasionally bought Uber Eats, attended the annual Streamy Awards.

Given his importance to the medium, many Twitch fans tuned in to the 12th annual Streamy Awards this year to see if xQc would win any prizes. The event was organized by Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter.

As prizes were still being given out to other content creators on December 4, xQc placed an Uber Eats order for Shake Shack burgers. xQc, a frequent user of Uber Eats, recently cleaned his Twitch PC setup, which was covered in packaging from Coca-Cola, Starbucks, and other easily accessible products along with half-empty food containers from the delivery service. Fans of xQc may not have thought much of his decision to order Uber Eats during the Streamy Awards given his tendency for doing so, but the next day, another content creator called him out for the stunt.

Twitch’s xQc responded to criticism from HasanAbi, who was nominated for two Streamy awards himself, by saying that the red carpet of the award presentation featured “snackies,” which the streamer proposed that he spend three hours on. At the Streamy Awards, xQc hinted that the appetizers wouldn’t satisfy his hunger, but later emphasized that he was “ready for the main course” and that even a little plate of “mini pie-shaped deserts” wouldn’t do it.

xQc ordered eight Shake Shack burgers through Uber Eats to the Beverley Hilton because he needed more food and shared any leftovers with the other content creators seated at his table.

The popular Twitch streamer may have arrived at the event with a bigger appetite than the event planners anticipated because the Streamy Awards’ refreshments were insufficient for xQc. In response to HasanAbi criticizing his choice of food at the event in the same category of Twitch, xQc was responding as he received the Just Chatting Streamy award. xQc responded to HasanAbi’s claim that he wasn’t eating all the food he had ordered at the Streamy Awards by saying that he and the other people at his table had finished the bag of eight hamburgers before the show ended. During the explanation, some live Twitch users expressed that xQc had failed at the Streamy Awards and supported HasanAbi, but other viewers responded with a variety of laughing emotes.

Although xQc purchasing Shake Shack during the Streamy Awards may have bothered some well-known Twitch broadcasters like HasanAbi, his audience was more confused than surprised.
