xQc And His Twitch Subathon

Twitch streamer Felix Lengyel aka xQc has recently announced that his most awaited 60-day subathon livestream in which he will stream constantly for two months, will be delayed. Ever since Twitch streamer Ludwig Aghren broke the record for most concurrent subscribers on Twitch dethroning Ninja in the process, Twitch streamer Felix Lengyel aka xQc has been planning his own subathon to take the record for himself and he even spoke about taking it next level, starting by doubling the duration.

Because of this, xQc fans have been hyping him up on every stream, hoping to get some intel on how far the event was and previously, xQc had confirmed that it would take place in June, however, he now seems to have change his mind as he announces that he will be delaying his 60 day subathon stream. While xQc initially stated that the historic livestream would begin within the next month, he has now backtracked and plans to complete the stream by the end of this year. The motivation behind this change of plans is apparently monetary, as xQc explained that he would be able to make more money off of stream ads closer to the end of the year.

During Nmplol’s May 27th live stream together with other streamers such as Ludwig, Sodapoppin, xQc and more, xQc confirmed the Twitch subathon delay as he stated; “I’ve thought about it, and I’m not doing it next month”. He went on to reveal that he was eyeing a new date around “the end of the year” to pull the trigger, with December the most likely option to start the two-month saga, as he added; “My five-head thinking is doing it Q4. Ads are going to be so wild. The closer you are to Q4… they’re madness! Two times, three times as big!” Some of xQc’s fans will be disappointed to hear the 60-day subathon is being pushed back nearly half a year but it certainly makes sense why the Twitch star would want to hold off starting just yet.
