xQc Admits That he Had to Move Out

Twitch star Felix Lengyel aka xQc has now revealed the reason why he and his partner Adept has recently moved out of their house and live with their fellow streamer Sodapoppin as he claimed that he moved away from his Texas home after being swatted nearly every day.

Swatting is a highly dangerous “prank” in which the police are contacted under false pretenses, often being told of an extreme or violent situation at a particular address. The aim is to send armed SWAT units to unsuspecting people’s homes, often with the hopes of the event being caught on camera.

Earlier in June, twitch streamer xQc and Adept surprised their fans and viewers when they moved in with fellow streamer Sodapoppin. That time, they went on to explain that the reason for their moving was because of “house renovations.” During his June 28th live broadcast on twitch, xQc reveals the real reason behind their move and his recent decision on planning to move back to Canada. xQc stated that the real reason was due to him being the target of a dangerous harassment campaign and fearing for his life.

He explained emotionally; “The main reason why I wanted to move back to Canada a month ago, we were getting raided by the police station at rates that absolutely made no f**king sense. Almost every day the police came to our house with the full squad. Because of f**king idiots. And I was genuinely scared that I was GOING to die.”

xQc went on to clarify that he was able to come up with a system that let him broadcast live even while police raided his home without viewers being aware. Then he added that when he would look off-stream and mention food, it was often a signal to the police that everything was okay. The signs that twitch streamer xQc had been going through a serious situation in real life have been hinted at during past streams.

As of now, it’s unclear whether xQc still has plans to move back to Canada. While some people were saying that he was moving back to Canada for the gambling after his DMs with Trainwrecks were accidentally leaked online a few days earlier, xQc clarified that he wanted to go home due to genuinely being “scared” for his life.
