XANTARES Permanently Banned From Twitch

CSGO pro and streamer on Twitch that goes by the name XANTARES has decided to quit the streaming platform and move into another platform after being permanently banned on Twitch back in June.

XANTARES, the entry fragger for BIG’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster, has been a staple of the roster since 2018. He is one of the most popular Turkish streamers on Twitch. XANTARES can be often found streaming FPL Pugs on Twitch and is widely regarded as one of the best aimers in the game. His mechanical prowess is evident from his streams and it’s safe to say that his fans dig it, though his streams aren’t the most family-friendly ones out there, we all know CSGO’s reputation when it comes to toxicity.

In the end of June, it has been reported that XANTARES has been banned from twitch without being informed of the cause. This happens to be his second suspension, following the one in April 2020. The ban came just a few days after XANTARES and his organization BIG won $600,000 from the Gamers Without Borders charity tournament. On Twitter, he announced his ban as he wrote; “I got banned from Twitch guys, I don’t know why, but I definitely deserve it, it’s not their fault bro.”

A day later, he was then notified that the ban was due to a community violation, and he would be permanently banned from the platform. A community guidelines violation isn’t very specific, as it could be a number of different issues.

Now, on his August 8th twitter post, he informed his fans and followers that he will be making his return on streaming as he decided to start streaming on a different platform. As of now, we’re unsure on which platform XANTARES will be streaming on. His YouTube channel boasts over 100,000 subscribers, so it could be a potential new home for his streams.
