XANTARES Is Banned

Turkish CS:GO start and Twitch Streamer İsmailcan Dörtkardeş AKA XANTARES received his second temporary ban from Twitch on June 28th.

XANTARES was banned one day after he helped a CS:Go charity tournament called the BIG win Gamers Without Borders 2021, against FURIA.

He is a well-known professional player and often streams PUGs or FPL games on his channel. He has more than 547,097 followers on Twitch and according to SullyGnome’s statistics, he streamed for exactly 2 hours and 17 minutes on Sunday, June 27th after the BIG vs. FURIA grand final.

XANTARES shared the unfortunate news on his Twitter account and said that he got banned from Twitch and that he doesn’t know the reason why but admit that he definitely deserved it and it’s not the platform’s fault. He also added by saying that he’s waiting for an official email from Twitch informing him of the reason behind his ban and how long it’s gonna take.

This isn’t the first time XANTARES was banned. He was banned for seven days in April 2020. He was also not informed why and how he was banned. As of now, he has now more time to prepare and focus on the IEM Cologne play-in stage that will happen on July 6th.
