Why Disguised Toast Took Twitch Deal

After his contract with Facebook Gaming expired, OfflineTV member Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang stated why he chose a “trash” deal with Twitch.

Wang announced his departure from Facebook Gaming on November 17th, after two years of exclusivity with the platform. Fans of Disguised Toast soon spread reports that the creator was returning to Twitch, prompting Toast to address the issue during kkatamina’s famous subathon. Just a week later, the OfflineTV member announced his comeback to Twitch, and now he’s talking about his contract with the site.

Toast decided to seek up a post on the popular subreddit Livestreamfail that he posted two years ago when he migrated to Facebook gaming during his December 5 live. On that post, someone commented stating; “To me, it sounds like he just went for the big deal, and quits streaming once the contract is done… this is his way out.”

In response to this., Disguised Toast stated; “You’re telling me an LSF user doesn’t know jack s**t about what they’re talking about? Do they just make up these imaginary scenarios? I took a f**king trash-a*s deal. No offense Twitch, but your offer was trash and we both know it. I took it though.”

Toast then went on to explain why he chose the “trash” deal over a better offer on another platform. He explained; “Because I missed streaming to the Twitch community.” He also joked that he “loves attention” and would like to continue streaming.

This isn’t the first time the creator has received a little offer from Twitch; on November 21st, he claimed that the Amazon-owned platform’s offer was what prompted him to choose Facebook.
