Website Calls Valkyrae A ‘Bikini Streamers’

Popular Former Twitch Streamer and YouTuber Valkyrae was called by a popular news website a ‘Bikini Streamer’ because of her comments regarding the new meta on Twitch platform called ‘Hot Tub Meta’.

The Hot tub is one of the talks as of now and became the most interesting discourses on the internet. Some bashed the practice and some have come to defend it like Valkyrae.

Valkyrae explained her thoughts and said that hot tub streams are popular for a reason and also said that it is basically what men want. She also said that people shouldn’t have to be worried about it since it’s not hurting anyone.

Her comments/opinion quickly spread around and many quoted Valkyrae for defending hot tub streamers.

One popular news website, New York Post reported regarding Valkyrae’s comments and assumed that she is one of them and streamed in the same category. The news website described her comments and wrote saying ‘Bikini Streamers’ (referring to Valkyrae) were quick to defend the practice.

People in the gaming community reacted to the New York Post after they labeled and called valkyrae a Bikini Streamer. They quickly went viral and Valkyrae’s fans are taking offense to the poor choice of words or NY Post. Others seem to find it hilarious and laughed it out at its expense and some defended NY Post and said that ‘snippet’ was taken out of context.

Many call out the NY Post and call out poor journalists and say that they highly suspect that the author/writer of the article didn’t do their research and others said that they do it intentionally so that they can attract more viewers and attention to them.

Also many are pointing out how the mainstream media is so distant from the gaming world and esports and how they are not relating to the issue. In short, many find it hilarious and say that maybe next time, NT Post will do their research before they published their news.
