VTuber Pekora And Twitch

One of the most popular VTuber Pekora has now finally joined Twitch and her first stream on the platform was a huge success already. For the past few years, streamers who are represented by an animated figure on-screen or simply Vtubers have become hugely popular across streaming platforms.

The success of the Vtuber community has led to some biggest streamers such as Pokimane and pewdiepie to create their own avatar, but then it has brought controversy and backlash. Many of the Vtubers have been found streaming and creating content on Youtube as they were working under the HoloLive. However, some Vtubers have also made their move to twitch streaming platform and the recent Vtuber to make a move on twitch was Vtuber Pekora who recently started her channel and it was indeed a huge success.

Vtuber Usada Pekora is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, debuting as part of its third generation of VTubers under the name of “hololive Fantasy” alongside Uruha Rushia, Shiranui Flare, Shirogane Noel and Houshou Marine. Since starting off her career back in 2019, she has quickly grown over the following few months, ending up with over 1.5 million subscribers and has become the most-watched gaming VTuber around.

Now, she joins Twitch under the name usadapekora_hololive. It is already a huge success as she’s already amassed close to 100,000 followers even though she only has been streaming once since her move and her account was only created at the back end of March.

According to the stats from SullyGnome, Pekora’s first stream averaged just under 15,000 viewers for her two-hour-long debut on Twitch, peaking at just a touch over 21,000 viewers. Despite having a move on Twitch, pekora isn’t ditching her YouTube channel altogether as it appears as if she’ll be splitting her time between Twitch and YouTube.
