Viperous Banned Again

Twitch streamer Viperous has been banned once again from twitch streaming platform after one day of being unbanned. Viperous is well known for her Rainbow Six Siege and Fortnite gameplay. She has been previously banned from twitch after she allegedly used a racial slur, however, twitch later overturned the ban and apologized to the streamer after Viperous proved that she actually said “nerd” instead of a racial slur. Her most recent ban came recently on June 12th and it was thought to be a DMCA strike, after watching videos with her audience on stream.

Now, after being unbanned less than 24 hours ago, she was once again hit with another ban lasting for a further 7 days. Viperous swiftly took to Twitter to vent her anger and frustration and in the tweet, she attached an image of the ban notice, indicating that she was banned for the reason of “sharing content featuring core or excessive blood” while captioning, “DUDE WHAT!!! I was watching a video on anesthesia awareness on YouTube that had zero blood or gore in it.” Twitch further indicated in the notice, that examples of violating content included broadcasting graphic medical surgery videos.

This means a Community Guidelines strike was placed on her account, so she’ll be locked out from streaming for another couple of days. Viperous also went on to share the video that she had been watching on YouTube that caused her ban. The content of the video itself is about raising awareness of Anesthesia and what it’s like to wake up from surgery, a Shane Dawson video, which starts with a disclaimer: “containing very graphic descriptions of surgery”, and is described by the creator as “intense.”
