Valkyrae YouTube Gaming Contract

Streamers are obliged to complete a set number of hours of broadcasting before the conclusion of their contracts with YouTube Gaming, which can be hundreds of hours over the course of years. Valkyrae, one of the platform’s most well-known creators, has a few hours left on her contract before it expires next month.

Popular youtube streamer Valkyrae stated that she had over 198 hours of streaming time left before her two-year YouTube Gaming contract expires on January 15, 2022. Valkyrae, co-owner of 100 Thieves and known for her VALORANT and other multiplayer game streams with her friends across streaming platforms, streams to tens of thousands of people on a regular basis.

Valkyrae attempted to stream recently in order to make a dent in the hours she still had left, but she halted her broadcast short after experiencing technical difficulties barely five minutes into it. Despite maintaining a constant broadcasting schedule, Valkyrae took a break from YouTube to focus on her mental health and avoid the toxicity she received on social media due to concerns surrounding the RFLCT skincare line. She has now recovered from the incident and continues to attract the views and interaction on YouTube Gaming that have allowed her to expand her brand to the point where it is now—with enough time to complete her contract.

Valkyrae’s contract with YouTube Gaming is set to expire, and it’s unclear whether she intends to renew it. However, because she is one of the platform’s most popular creators, it is likely that she will return under a new contract. Ludwig, a fellow creator and friend, recently went from Twitch to YouTube Gaming, bringing another large-audience streamer to the site—though the move was quickly followed by a suspension from the network.
