In the streaming community, Valkyrae is well-liked. She is a co-owner of 100 Thieves and one of the first women to own a company in the esports industry. Valkyrae is also a passionate streamer. She constantly proclaims the praises of her friends and is close enough to get to know her fellow streamers. She even understands enough about mysterious content creators like Corpse Husband to be aware of their greatest fears. One of Valkyrae’s longest streaming ties, though, is with another well-known name: Pokimane.

When Pokimane and Valkyrae decided to move out of their shared home and get their own apartments early in 2021, some people worried that their admirable friendship would come to an end.

That wasn’t the case, and the pair revealed that they’d opted to move from their existing residence for security and independence concerns. Since then, the duo has streamed together several times, maintaining their status as two of the industry’s most popular women.

Some viewers pointed out that the two were astrologically compatible, and Valkyrae remarked that Pokimane, like her sister, is a Taurus. Valkyrae exclaimed; “When I think of Poki, I do think of her as, like, a little sister. I love her. I have some really good friends … They give me hope for this world.”

Of fact, Valkyrae is probably referring to her entire group of friends, which includes Sykkuno and Corpse Husband, but her link with Pokimane is unique, more akin to a family bond than a simple friendship.
