Valkyrae Feeling Like a “Zoo Animal”

Youtube streamer Rachell Hofstetter aka Valkyrae has opened up about how her youtube viewers are making a constant demand while she is streaming and because of this, she admitted that she feels like a zoo animal. Being a big streamer seems like a glamorous job from the outside looking in but it seems like everyone gets a little bit frustrated with their jobs at times just like what happened to the one of the biggest female streamer Valkyrae as she reveals that she is growing tired of the way that her audience acts at times.

According to Valkyrae, her chats were sometimes turning against her to make demands about what she plays often, reasonable or not, ruins her moods. During her June 2nd live broadcast, she was torn between playing Minecraft with her OfflineTV friends, and a GTA RP court case that she had promised to attend as her character, Ray, when she went on to express some of her lingering feelings off of her chest. She stated; “Sometimes I just feel like a zoo animal. Like a monkey you throw food at, tell it to do a trick, and when it doesn’t do what you want, you hate it”. While Valkyrae’s words directed to her audience might sound harsh, she also added that she knows that most of her viewers are quite chill and don’t mind what she does.

However, the main issue Valkyrae often struggles with is that a vocal minority in the chat can begin demanding she do something different that can sometimes ruin her experience while streaming. She added that the spam makes him a little resentful. So, she stated that she decided to do her best to just ignore these kinds of things in her chat as she hates it when they ruin her mood of streaming. Valkyrae obviously wanted to have a consistent, happy, good stream the whole time.
