Valkyrae Defending Corpse Husband

After an alleged “face reveal” of the faceless content creator Corpse Husband swept over social media, YouTube star Valkyrae appeared to come to Corpse Husband’s defense.

Several photographs surfaced on Twitter in mid-September, claiming to reveal the true identity of uber-popular YouTuber and music artist Corpse Husband. It’s worth noting that Corpse Husband has never shown his face online on his own volition, which has piqued the interest of his ever-growing fan following as to what he looked like. 

Fans had little choice but to rely on their own artwork and interpretations of his online identity up until now, but alleged photos of the star that appeared online were met with outrage and harsh condemnation.

While many fans rallied to his defense, the incident sparked a big debate about fan expectations and influencer privacy — and fellow YouTuber Valkyrae appeared to weigh in on the subject. Rae appeared to defend Corpse in a recent live stream, requesting that her supporters send her friends support during some particularly tough moments for them. 

Here’s what she says; “I just want you guys to know that every single one of my friends is exactly the same as they are off stream. They are, all of them, every single one, they’re exactly the same person off stream. They all are very, very good people. I love them all dearly, I am very lucky and grateful for the people that I get to call my friends, you know? Just be kind. Be kind to my friends. Be super supportive. I can reassure you that they’re very good people. I just think that sometimes the things that have happened to them are so undeserved.”

Similar sentiments have been voiced in the comments section, with viewers pleading with their fellow viewers to show compassion and temper their expectations for a content creator who has gone on record predicting that such an event will occur despite his best efforts to disguise his identity.
