Youtube streamer star and the newly one of the co owners of the popular organization 100Thieves, Rachell Hofstetter aka Valkyrae has recently opened up about her previous situation wherein she considered harming herself. Valkyare has risen in popularity in 2020 and 2021. Because of this, she has become one of the most inspirational women of the online generation, pulling in thousands of viewers per broadcast.

Valkyrae is known for her jolly personality that always smiles and laughs during her streams. However, it seems like not everything has always been so positive for her as during her latest live broadcast on May 13th she went on to open up about the time of her past struggles with depression and considering self harm.

She stated; “There was a time in my life where I… Oh my gosh, I don’t know if I’ve ever actually talked about this. But I remember sitting in my room, I had a razor, I was holding it, and I remember, like, just looking at it and holding it. I was heavily considering actually causing harm, you know? God, it freaks me out thinking about it. Looking back, I can’t even believe how different my life has changed from back then.” Valkyrae went on to reassure her viewers and fans that no matter how bad things might seem right now, it will get better and to hold on. She finished off her soul-bearing segment of her broadcast with an insightful message where she stated; “Sometimes the bad things can sort of be good things.”
