Valkyrae And “Crazy People” Online Who Sexualize Streamers

Popular youtube streamer and content creator Rachel Hofstetter aka Valkyrae recently opened up about how some people online were often sexualizing her and her streamer friends across various platforms. Valkyrae is no stranger to the dark side of internet fame as she has dealt with stalkers throughout her streaming career. Earlier this year, she announced that she will be keeping her twitter account private due to some stalkers who have been making hundreds of accounts and have been leaking her address.

Now, during one of her recent live broadcasts, she went on to share another revelation about the downside of the internet. Valkyrae stated; “There isn’t something I haven’t seen like I ‘ve seen everything. I’ve seen it all. It’s just..you guys want to hear some terrible things I’ve seen? I have actually seen a porn video of just two random people but the title is ‘Valkyrae and Sykkuno’ doing blah blah blah. Completely random people, don’t look like either of us.”

According to her, she saw a video of two random people who don’t even look like her and Sykkuno but the title of the video was Valkyrae and Sykkuno doing something. She proceeded to elaborate further as she labeled the experience of being sexualized as “horrifying”. She also shared that she has seen some twitter pages where these “crazy people” have been busting on photos of her and her friends. At the end of her statement, Valkyrae issued a word of caution for all the streamers as she stated; “So be careful, be very careful and safe. Like I know a lot of my friends have stalkers, it’s just unfortunate how common it is. There is no internet police, there is none, it’s crazy!”
