Twitch’s Next Scapegoat: Indiefoxx Suspension

Last June 28th, Streaming platform Twitch decided to suspend Twitch Streamer Janelle Dagres AKA Indiefoxx due to “sexually-suggestive” ASMR streams that she posted in the past few weeks.

Indiefoxx is one of the most popular female content-creator who became popular for initially posting suggestive “hot-tub” streams but since the “hot-tub”meta loses its popularity, a new meta bloomed and Indiefoxx decided to begin posting suggestive “ASMR” streams.

She offered multiple services during her live streams like licking her microphones, writing subscribers, new donors’ names on her body, and wearing the famous “TikTok” leggings. Regardless of her wrongdoings, Twitch decided to lift her suspension in just three days (June 22nd) but she was once again suspended from the streaming platform.

Indiefoxx was once again banned on Twitch last June 28th and it is now her 6th time suspension in her career. Also, it has been reported that her partnership with the streaming platform was also gone and that rumors are spreading that Indiefoxx’s 6th suspension will be her last and that it is now permanent.

As of now, there is no indication that the suspension of Indiefoxx is permanent.

Twitch Streamer and Partner CommanderRoot also confirmed Indiefoxx situation saying that she just lost her access to subscribers and that she will no longer be able to monetize her streams for the time being.

Indiefoxx and streaming platform Twitch both have failed to comment on the said matter. There is also no clear duration of how long the suspension will be lost or if it’s indeed a permanent one.

One Twitch streamer was also banned before doing the exact same thing and as of now, she is still not getting unbanned from the platform.
