Twitch Updates Suspension Rules

Streaming platform Twitch’s streamers will now get more insights regarding their suspensions and it’s a step in the right direction but also a system far from great.

Twitch’s decision regarding their suspending and banning streamers will now get clearer. Twitch recently announced that the enforcement regarding notifications will now include the streamer’s name and when the violation happened. The system itself is still not perfect but is a step forward towards helping the platform’s streamers understand why their channel got suspended. Twitch also attached a sample photo to what the streamers will see when they receive a ban/suspension.

Twitch will now continue to be open with details surrounding bans and suspension and this will surely help streamers see what they did wrong. Also, the trouble with ban and suspension of streamers are not the only problem they’ve been encountering right now, knowing that there’s currently a wave of DMCA takedowns unleashing and controversies such as hot-tub streaming, and ASMR.
