Twitch Unbans Warzone Streamer Tommey

100 Thieves star and a twitch streamer Tommey is finally free to stream again as twitch announced that he has been unbanned. On February 23rd, twitch streamer Tommey announced that he won’t be streaming for the next fourteen days due to twitch banned him from the platform. He claimed that he was banned for 14 days for “releasing non-sensitive personal information on VOD”. After being suspended, he took over twitter and wrote; “Well, this sucks?”

During his short time under the ban hammer, Tommey said that he hadn’t received any clips or context when he was notified of his ban as he once again wrote on twitter that he only received a very vague reason without any clip or context. However, his ban only lasted a few hours before the streaming platform realized it had committed a mistake. They promptly sent Tommey an email recognizing the mistake on its end and informing him that the ban has been reversed. Tommey shared the good news with his fans on Twitter stating that he is now free to stream.

This becomes the second incident in a single month when Twitch banned a partner and reversed it just a few hours later. Tommey wrote on twitter; “We are free”. Tommey has been on Twitch for years and this ban definitely caught everyone by surprise, but at least the 100 Thieves member is back in business.
