Twitch Donates One Million Dollars

The AbleGamers Foundation is a charity that has promoted accessibility in the gaming and tech world, creating custom setups for disabled gamers for over 15 years.

Twitch co-founder and CEO Emmett Shear and DrLupo surprised AbleGamers COO Steven Spohn. DrLupo confirmed that Twitch would be sending Spohn and his team the donation to continue pushing for improved accessibility. The company donated $1 million to AbleGamers to ensure that it will continue operating for a long time into the future.

This also gave Spohn and AbleGamers a chance to shoutout the first annual Video Game Accessibility Awards. Spohn and host Alanah Pearce will continue to celebrate more improved accessibility, enabling gamers everywhere.
