Anne Atomic Says That Twitch “Simply Doesn’t Care” About Transgender Creators

Anne Atomic has been issued a suspension from twitch after getting a lot of reports from stream trolls who reported her for “adult nudity” even though she was wearing a standard bikini during her hot tub broadcasts.

Anne started doing hot tub streams on her channel when twitch platform introduced the new hot tub category because of the backlash that the hot tub meta has gotten for streaming under the just chatting category.

Anne gained popularity for her hot tub streams as the number of her followers and viewers have climbed exponentially. However, it looks like it also has a negative side as the increased numbers also reportedly led to constant raids from transphobes who flooded the chat with hateful comments.

Some have been reporting her stream for “adult nudity” despite the fact that she didn’t break any rules and was wearing a standard bikini while doing her broadcasts and this has resulted in her getting banned from the platform.

Now after the ban, she hits out at twitch claiming that Twitch didn’t care about transgender creators. Twitch streamer Anne talked about this matter in an interview with Kotaku. During the interview, she slammed Twitch for ‘not caring’ about transgender creators.

Here’s what she said; “I am without a doubt the biggest magnet for hate and transphobes on Twitch as the first, and still the only, transgender hot tub streamer. I think it’s just inevitable with the tag. We aren’t forced to use it, though. But I prefer not to hide who I am, and I use the platform as a means to educate people. I get constantly reported by transphobes and misogynists on the platform. I really can come to no conclusion except that they either triggered an auto-ban due to reports volume that no one bothered to review since I’m not a partner, or that I scorned the ire of a Twitch admin who did not like what I was doing.”

Anne also claimed that she tried to appeal the suspension but twitch responded with automated responses.
