Tommyinnit Trends On Twitter

The currently popular minecraft youtuber has recently trends on twitter after an apparent internet mishap. Thomas “Tommy” Simons aka TommyInnit is an English gaming YouTuber and Twitch streamer known for his Minecraft-related streams and videos. He is well known for his collaborations with YouTubers and streamers in the Dream SMP server.

During one of his recent live broadcasts while playing Minecraft on the DreamSMP server together with the popular youtuber Dream, he amassed over 500k viewers on his stream but then shortly after, Tommy’s internet suddenly shut down. It seems like the interruption was 100% unplanned and unscripted, with Tommy’s frame rate dropping to Microsoft PowerPoint levels before he finally went offline temporarily. After a few moments, Tommy’s stream went back online and the show went right on as if nothing had happened.

Tommy further explained what happened as he stated, “Twitch was like, just crashing, seems to be when we get past the half a million point, It literally seems like it once we got past half a million viewers.” Because of this incident, Tommy’s internet issued caused him to start trending on Twitter almost immediately as “tommy” have become one of the top trending topics on Twitter. Most of his fans were wondering what’s going on during the internet shut downs and if Dream had somehow orchestrated this whole thing. Anyone who’s broadcast on Twitch before knows that technical difficulties like this can be a major pain, and potentially ruin a stream altogether.
