Tommyinnit Responds After Shock TikTok Ban

Popular minecraft streamer Tommyinnit has been trending across social media after his TikTok account was banned. Youtuber Tommyinnit has been one of the fastest-growing stars on the internet these days. He has been trending for some time now at different occasions. On February 24th, he revealed via twitter post that his TikTok account has been removed or banned from the platform and seemingly without a reason.

He wrote on twitter; “TikTok just banned me,” followed by another tweet with an added hashtag as he wrote; “Crushed. I am absolutely crushed. Please TikTok, #FreeTommy.” Because of this, his loyal fans have immediately jumped on the trend and started spamming the hashtag #FreeTommy across social media to get it trending and they have succeeded. #FreeTommy has become the number one trending worldwide on twitter. There’s no denying that the enormous community support has had an impact as good news suddenly came out.

After hundreds of tweets and thousands of impressions later, Tommy’s TikTok account was restored in under an hour and went back to normal. All of Tommy’s TikTok videos were brought back to the platform and the creator was free to engage with fans once again. While the controversy was short-lived, it goes to show that even the biggest social media stars can have their profiles erased in the blink of an eye.
