TommyInnit, a Minecraft streamer, went live on May 24, 2022 to relate his humorous story dealing with a sketchy, drunk American while vacationing in Mexico.
His fans were vaguely aware of the trip because photos of him with fans in Mexico had been shared online, and they expected plenty of antics and stories once the young content creator returned from his sudden vacation. It’s become a recent trend for streamers across the pond who are just turning eighteen to go on stream and discuss their first experience being drunk/being around drunk people. Tommy’s friend Toby “Tubbo” joined in on the trend a few weeks before the latter’s stream about his exploits in Mexico.
Tommy began his account of the bar story by noting that he and his friend, Freddie “Badlinu,” had sang “Dancing Queen” by ABBA on the karaoke track. He went on to inform his rapt audience that he had been dancing with a girl thereafter, and that things between them were initially going swimmingly. That was, until a mystery “Blake” appeared on the scene. He said; “We start dancing and it’s going very well. And then an American girl starts dancing with me. And I say to Freddie, ‘What the hell, Freddie?’ And it’s going increasingly well! Until… Blake comes into the picture.”
TommyInnit continued by describing this mysterious “Blake,” saying: “I had never met a real American person until I met Blake. He comes over, and he dances over, and he was very, very, very drunk. But I met him and I was like… ‘My God, he’s not real.’”
Later, he and Blake sat at the bar. The American girl who had been dancing with Tommy earlier had taken a seat next to them. Tommy revealed that he’d had his first proper drink in Mexico. And, while he wasn’t completely inebriated, he was just buzzed enough to consider starting up a conversation with Blake. Tommy continued by describing how Blake informed him that he had been cheating on his girlfriend.
After droning on about cheating on his partner, Tommy then spoke about the piece of advise that Blake had given him. As he offered the advice, Tommy asked viewers to “turn down the stream” because it was so vulgar and unexpected.
Tommy continued; “And then he gives me some advice, chat. Advice that I’ll keep with me for the rest of my life. Do you want to hear it? Now I’m gonna encourage you all to turn down the stream as I say this advice. I’m gonna whisper and lean into the mic. ‘Cause it was so vulgar and unexpected. And then he leans into me and goes, ‘Now you listen to me, what’s your name?’ ‘Tubbo’ ‘Tubbo, you listen to me, man. When you wake up in the morning, you need to be f*cking the b*tch that you want to f*ck. You need to be f*cking the b*tch that when she wakes up in the morning, you hope she’s clean, you hope her hair is pretty. I need you to promise me that.'”
Tommy then went on to tell his story about how Blake damaged his chances with the girl he had been dancing with earlier by asking if she wanted to “do it tonight” with Tommy. The girl walked away from the two men in the bar after saying no. Despite his disappointment, Tommy claimed that her leaving was “worth it” because he got to hear more drunken rants from Blake.
