TimTheTatman Says That Twitch Might Not Let Him Play With Dr Disrespect Off-Stream

Many fans were shocked when Twitch streamer Timothy Betar recently revealed to his viewers a shocking news that he may not be able to play video games together with a banned twitch streamer and his friend Dr Disrespect even during offstream. Back in June 2020, Dr disrespect have been permanently banned from the platform. Since then, fans are wondering as to what might be the reason behind his mystery ban. Because of that, DrDisrespect was forced to switch platforms and that’s when he decided to stream exclusively on youtube.

However, part of Twitch’s rules prohibits other streamers from playing with him during their own broadcasts as according to Twitch’s moderation and safety article, if “a banned user appears in a third party channel while being suspended, this could cause the ban of the channel they appear in.” Therefore, some of Dr Disrespect’s fellow streamers and friends who stream on Twitch such as Nickmercs and TimTheTatman, are not allowed to stream or play together with DrDisrespect. Now, during a recent live broadcast of TimTheTatman, he was asked by a viewer about the possibility of teaming up with Doc on his own time which he responded stating; “I don’t think I can. Stupid.”, with an eye roll.

Jake Lucky from Esports Talk recently tweeted about the situation surrounding Doc and his friends as he wrote; “A while back Nickmercs hinted not being able to play with Dr Disrespect even off stream, Timthetatman has now stated the same.” For now, we can only hope Twitch decides to be more liberal with its rules in the future and actually allow the violence, speed and momentum to course through the platform in some capacity again in the future.
