The Warzone Scandal

Twitch Streamer and Call of Duty player Pacesetter has been accused of cheating using wallhacks.

The accusations came from his fellow streamer and Warzone player Thomas Trewren also known as Tommey, showing in his recent stream proofs of his claims that Pacesetter could see through walls as a result of spotting other players’ locations.

Tommey used his stream to make his accusations against Pacesetter in hopes of bringing to light that some competitive players are cheating at Warzone just to win prize money.

Wall hacking in Call of Duty: Warzone is the process of using software to alter the properties of the walls of the games and will make the walls transparent so that the player using this software can see players hiding behind them.

Users using this software are hard to distinguish because you can’t tell whether they are using one or not and that’s mainly the reason why it’s possible to use wall hacking techniques to cheat in tournaments.

Since tommey revealed and accused Pacesetter of cheating, viewers began combing Pacesetter’s Twitch VOD footage and looking if he had shown knowledge of his opponents location without feeling the need to check corners for hidden opponents.

Tommey seems sure that Pacesetter cheated and informed his fellow warzone players that there’s ‘another one’ and hates that it even comes down to this. He hopes that this incident opened the eyes of many that cheating is really happening in a lot of tournaments.

He said in his tweet that he’s ‘praying’ that there’s an anti-cheat coming soon.

Tommey also shared that Warzone is what he does for a living and he knows the ins and outs of the game. He loves the game and wouldn’t swap it for anything and that’s why when there’s someone cheating in a competition and tournament, it kills him inside which is also why he wants cheaters to stop what they’re doing because it is affecting the game itself.
