The cause of death could not be determined right away. “We are devastated and heartbroken to learn of Kim “Alarm” Kyeong-passing,” Bo’s the Fusion team said in a statement. “Alarm was the heart and soul of our organization, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as we mourn this tragic loss.” They added, “The Kim family and the Fusion ask for privacy during this incredibly difficult time.”

In a tweet, a Fusion team member said that out of everyone he’s ever met, ‘Alarm’ was one of the nicest and kindest people he’s ever met, and that it’s very rare to know someone for years and only have good memories and experiences with them, and that he’s at a loss for words.

Another person expressed his sadness, saying that he had the pleasure of casting Alarm during his time as a Tank player on BK Stars, and that he was a multi-talented gamer who passed away far too soon. Some people also claim that if they ever had the opportunity to play or work with Alarm, they realized how unique he was as a competitor and teammate, and that the world is truly cruel.

Before being promoted in 2019, the young star began his career with the Philadelphia Fusion’s academy team, Fusion University. Since then, he’s amassed some impressive statistics, which you can see on the Overwatch League website.
