The Inception Of OTV

Pokimane is a founder member of the popular OfflineTV organization. The organization also just attended the Arcane premiere, demonstrating how big they’ve become over time. Pokimane revealed during a recent livestream that she was the one who came up with the name OfflineTV. She went on to explain why she chose this name and revealed the names that other broadcasters, such as Scarra and Chris, had chosen.

OfflineTV has grown to become one of the most successful streaming companies in the world. While each streamer at OfflineTV is doing really well for themselves, it appears that OfflineTV is where they go to relax and simply hang out with one another. Pokimane added that it was for this reason that she named the organization OfflineTV, because it was a place where followers could watch what the broadcasters did in their spare time.

She stated; “I came up with the name OfflineTV because I wanted it to be a channel that showcased the stuff we do offline.” Though she looked pleased with the name she had chosen, she did not stop there. She then proceeded to make fun of Scarra and Chris’s names. She added; “You know what the f**k Scarra and, at the time, Chris came up with? It was like ‘Lobster Town’ and ‘Boosted Monkeys’. And I was like *dramatic pause* maybe- maybe not!”

Pokimane even stated that the group used to be known as ‘Boosted Monkeys,’ but then changed their name to OfflineTV. Pokimane, Lilypichu, Michael Reeves, Scarra, and Disguised Toast are just a few of the well-known streamers on OfflineTV. In fact, now that TSM president Leena Xu has retired, she has declared that she would be working with OTV.
