Sweeneytv Goes Viral After Acting Out to be a Twitch Staff

YouTuber Sweeneytv recently posted a youtube video where he was pretending to be a twitch staff member who just banned twitch streamer Indiefoxx. The twitch streaming platform didn’t waste any time to take action to the rising controversy with the platform, the ASMR ‘earlicking’ meta. They banned the two biggest streamers Indiefoxx and Amouranth for doing these kinds of streams.

The two streamers were banned for three days as they got unbanned recently and are allowed to stream again on twitch. However, the length of their bans was not well received by the community with several streamers including xQc, Alinity, and destiny has spoken out accusing the platform of double standards and that twitch was not doing enough to stop the sexual content on the platform.

While several in the community have been debating about this matter, youtuber Sweeneytv went viral after he posted a youtube video where he was acting out as the twitch staff member who banned indiefoxx.

The youtuber shows what he imagines Twitch would be like if revealed what happens behind the scenes to decide suspensions. In the youtube video, Sweeneytv was watching the controversial stream of indiefoxx. The video of indiefoxx’s stream was blurred. The video continued with Sweeney watching footage of Indiefoxx lick her ASMR mic.

At first, he said that everythings fine to him as so far, according to him it was just a form of “artistic expression” then he went on to comment about indiefoxx’s yoga pants and pose and describe it as “ergonomically friendly.”

Shortly after, he reads Twitch’s guidelines to know what is acceptable or not, then after learning about how having a camera focused on a streamer’s “breast or buttocks” is prohibited, Sweeneytv pretends to call a ‘ban’ for her. It was just a short 2 minute video that it has quickly gained as massive views of more than 600k views since being uploaded on June 19th.
