Summit1G Hits Back At xQc

Popular twitch streamer Jaryd Lazar aka Summit1G has responded to xQc after xQc accused him of metagaming in the NoPixle’s GTA RP server. The NoPixel server has been taking over twitch in the past few weeks as many popular streamers have been joining in to play on the server. However, during popular twitch streamer xQc’s february 20th live broadcast, he was playing on the server and he accused Summit1g and his gang of metagaming when his attempt to ruin Summit1g failed completely.

In the game, xQc set up a barricade to stop summit to drive through. It really stopped Summit and his group from driving through, however, summit and his gang quickly turned their weapons onto xQc and took down xQc who was behind the wheel of the truck. Because of this, xQc ranted saying; “I did not think they would shoot me, This is cringe though. Guys, I rarely get into drama about getting mad but that is legitimately cringe that they meta’d though.” Metagaming in role playing games describes a player’s use of real-life knowledge concerning the state of the game to determine their character’s actions, when said character has no relevant knowledge or awareness under the circumstances.

xQc’s accusations quickly reached summit1g and it seems like he was chill about it. Summit explained during his stream; “How I see the whole thing is, you reap what you sow. If you’re going to mess with a whole group of racing people and you don’t, what do you expect? We’re going to respect your RP as much as you respect ours there and that’s how it goes.” Metagaming can earn bans from servers like NoPixel.
