Street Fighter Pro Players Apologizes After Trolling Fellow Streamers

Street Fighter professional player Kawabo recently apologized for trolling streamers. While his fellow streamer, Jyobin who has been cut off from his team.

Kawano is a well-known Street Fighter V player in Japan. He took his first place recently in Evo 2021 Online East Asia won Topanga Championship 3 but many are calling him out due to his actions online come under greater scrutiny.

Kawano and his fellow Street Fighter V pro player Jyobin of Yoshimoto Gaming recently coerced another streamer, Kappy Games to harass and troll other streamers.

The story goes after Kappy Games was wrapped up in a game called “batsu game” wherein a player loses, they have to do something unpleasant and receive “punishment”. The game is funny but usually, it is not knowing that people get hurt in the process, physically and mentally.

Kappy Games was told to harass trolls and harass other streamers for the amusement of the SFV pro players, Kawano and Jyobin. According to their viewers, it seems that both of them are bullying Kappy Games knowing that Japanese programs are known for its power harassment where “bosses” are forcing “underlings” to do something against their will and many believed that exactly what happened during Kappy Game’s batsu game.

Pestering streamers is not normal and seems juvenile and if a professional player incites that it definitely makes esports look bad.

During Memeu’s stream playing Yakuza Kiwami 2, Kappy Games entered her chat and started asking personal questions asking if she had ever had a boyfriend and then continued to write unnecessary things just to troll her. Kawano chimed in saying “Oh shit haha” and it quickly puts Memue in an awkward position knowing that her fellow streamer and Street Fighter V player are harassing her. Not only Memeu, but her viewers are also feeling uncomfortable by what Kappy Games and Kawano did and it created drama.

Kappy Games apologized to the female streamer Memeu and she forgave him. Kappy issued an apology statement saying that because of a game called ‘Batsu Game’, he had to bother other streamers and said that it is his fault for not declining and that he is truly sorry for it.

He added that he wondered what he would do if he stopped streaming because of what happened and thought of giving up streaming but as of now, he has no other job and his situation puts him and his income at risk. He said that the money he is earning right now as a streamer is important for him that is why he is coming clean.

The two streamers Kawano and Jyobin who are behind the harassment have been quiet at first. Kawano then made the situation even worse after he direct message Memeu saying that he was sorry for causing trouble during he Twitch stream and Jyobin tried the same bully saying that regarding what Krappy said, he is also sorry but being a professional player, they should act professional and issued a formal statement regarding to what they did and not just slide to the “victim” DM’s.

Kawao then issued a formal apology the following day apologizing to all the streamers they did wrong as well as the viewers and said that he had reflected deeply on his actions and that he was going to be more responsible for his behavior.

Jyobin also apologized days later saying that he now saw the error of his ways said that he would never do it again but Yoshimoto Gaming shared an unfortunate news saying that due to Juobin’s latest incident and his repeated issues of impropriety, they decided to fire him and part ways with the player.

Yoshimoto Gaming apologized for their former player’s action and unpleasantries.

Kawano still remains on his team Good 8 Squad and reprimanded. The team also apologized and reminded all its players that they should be aware of how to conduct themselves as professional players.
