Streaming Couple Slams Twitch After Ban

Twitch couple streamers Heosu and Esco had their twitch channel EXBCtv banned from twitch after showing a pixelated nude woman on stream. On April 6th, Heosu and Esco discovered that their twitch channel was banned from twitch.

The duo posted a tweet stating that they had not taken a break from streaming in the five years that they’d been on Twitch. They also stated that they are appealing the ban as they claimed that the video that they showed wasn’t lewd and it was pixelated. They wrote on twitter; “Banned because of girl’s pixelated body. Last 5years, I’ve not rested even 2 days in a row. It’s a 3 day ban. I’m appealing now. I just showed this video on stream for a few seconds. It wasn’t porn, it’s pixelated yt video. I don’t think it’s lewd”. Fans of the streamers have expressed concern about Twitch suspending their channel with one viewer saying; “My heart feels bad when good people, who chose to trust a platform with their livelihood are functionally placed on 3 days of unpaid leave. They’re a kind, empathetic, married couple and I respect them.”

The fact that a pixelated nude woman can result in a ban is quite bizarre, especially considering the pixelation happens in video games such as The Sims on a regular basis to avoid showing nudity.
