Streamer Arrested

A 19-year-old YouTuber and Twitch Streamer has been arrested after he made a fake bomb threat inside a restaurant.

The incident happened in New York City on February 13th. Malik Sanchez AKA ‘Smooth Sanchez’ carried out his ‘prank’ in a restaurant with six people inside. Before he carried out his plan, he said in his stream, “Let’s enhance their meal.”

He positioned himself near the two women customers and then loudly shouted “Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar” and then said that a bomb will detonate in two minutes. He then said that he will take all the customers with him and kill all of them. He then said that he will kill all of them for Allah.

He continued screaming with his fake Arabic accent and continuously shouting that he will actually do it and shouted “bomb now, bomb now”.

One of the customers dialed 911 but Malik had already left the area. Malik expressed his delight to his viewers and ran away while laughing. The law enforcers arrived but Malik was nowhere to be found that time.

Sanchez has been a problem of the law enforcers because of his continuous bad behavior. He kept on harassing and making insensitive pranks specially to women. He has been charged because of his fake bomb threat of one count of conveying false and misleading information and hoaxes. The said charge carries a maximum of five years in prison.

Malik’s case is now being handled by the Officer’s terroorism and international narcotics unit. Many hoped that Malik will face his consequences and that he will not be granted bail. His bad behavior has been a pain in many innocent lives and individuals.
