Streamer Amouranth Calls Out Instagram

In a series of tweets, popular twitch streamer Amouranth has called out Instagram after she found out that there was a fake account posting her own pictures including the images that she herself got banned on the platform.

During her early days in streaming, Amouranth has managed to create an impressive profile on instagram that serve as a big help for her to boost her twitch following and become well known to every platforms.However, everything comes to an end as she suddenly got banned from instagram due to “nudity” in her content.

Now, the twitch star has called out for instagram after finding out a fake account. The said account was posting images of Amouranth including the one that she got banned for.

On april 19, amouranth posted a series of tweets blasting instagram for refusing to delete the spam account. She criticizes instagram’s policy to ban a fake account. Amouranth claimed that the troll was pretending to be as her official account and was posting every picture of her. She shared a screenshot of the fake account and as seen in the photo, the fake account has gained a quite following as it has more than 100k followers. Sharing the screenshot, Amouranth captioned; “This is not me. Not sure why Instagram banned my Amouranth Instagram account, then literally allows an account that copied all my main Instagram’s content […] all the while refusing to ban this fake account.”

Taking a further and immediate action, amouranth also calls for help from her fans asking them to report the account and instructing them to say that the user was pretending to be ‘someone i know’. 

As of this writing, instagram hasn’t taken any actions yet but hopefully, the fake Amouranth instagram account will be banned soon.
