Streamer AmericanDad Builds LEGO Star Wars Model

AmericanDad, a popular Twitch streamer, wowed viewers with his antics after spending 34 hours creating a LEGO Star Wars model only to throw it off his house’s roof.

Since starting his Twitch channel in 2017, AmericanDad has racked up over 80k followers, with tens of thousands more on other media. He’s become recognized for his entertaining Twitter skits and unusual ways of resolving viewer disputes, and the Twitter community has even banded together to reward a waitress almost $1,000.

On April 10, AmericanDad wowed his followers by spending 34 hours on stream assembling the LEGO Millenium Falcon set just to chuck it off the roof of his house. AmericanDad announced on Twitter on April 8, 2022 that he was live-streaming himself putting together the LEGO Star Wars Millenium Falcon set. He claimed it was a “20-hour build” and promised the stream would continue until it was completed.

He further stated that if he gained 4,000 subscribers during the stream, he would toss the completed item from his stairwell. Instead, he went up to his roof and tossed the time-consuming object onto his driveway.

While the VOD featuring the film has been taken down, several of his supporters have expressed their reaction on Twitter. Others said it was worth it and that they “witnessed history,” while Expendablewolf felt “physical pain” witnessing the creator throw the Star Wars set over his roof. Fans of American Dad are generally down for whatever hijinks the long-haired content creator has up his sleeve, even if it means breaking a high-valued LEGO set, as evidenced by the reactions.
