Soulja Boy Apologizes

Soulja Boy, a rapper who also happens to be a Twitch streamer, has recently made headlines. Soulja Boy is a well-known Twitch streamer who generates news for his forthright and provocative views. He was banned from the Amazon-owned site Twitch for unknown reasons, which irritated him.

He vowed to sue Twitch and even called the company’s decision to ban him “racist.” He wrote, “I can’t believe Twitch can just ban you without any proof or explanation. This doesn’t feel right. I gotta sue these people. If y’all don’t give me my account back I’m taking y’all to court,” I need the best lawyer money can buy. DM me, I got millions. I wanna sue Twitch. I feel like they [are] racist. They ban me without [any] explanation. I will not stand for this.”

But it now appears that Soulja Boy has altered his tune. After speaking with Twitch personnel, Soulja Boy issued an apology. He expressed his displeasure on Twitter, writing: “Just spoke with Twitch. I would like to send an apology to the entire staff and community. It’s their decision. Let’s just see what happens. Thanks for your support.”

For unclear reasons, Soulja Boy’s Twitch account is still blocked. Soulja Boy’s Twitch account was protected for another four hours after the initial five-minute suspension. His account was taken down again four hours after the initial ban.
