Sodapoppin And Gambling

During his recent live broadcast, Twitch streamer Chance Morris aka sodapoppin has shared some of his thoughts regarding the heated debate within the community; twitch gambling streams.

Sodapoppin is already a long time poker player. He obviously was not new to gambling as he started streaming blackjack gambling on casino websites back in the year 2015, winning and losing thousands of dollars on any given day.

Gambling streams on twitch has become a heated topic within the community in the past recent days after Ethan Klein together with other biggest names on twitch have talked about this on their recent Podcast. Many streamers have already given their thoughts about the matter.

Now, twitch streamer Sodapoppin reacted to the said Podcast with Ethan Klein, Hasan Piker, and Trainwrecks about the current popular wave of streaming gambling slots on Twitch during his July 21st stream. Upon watching, Soda stated that as he was listening, he was getting angry. He then said that these twitch streamers only gamble because they care about the views as the gambling streams are “easy views”.

Then Sodapoppin’s co-streamer asks him stating; “If Train got 3k views do you think he would do it?” to which Soda quickly replied with; “No! He wouldn’t! He absolutely would not. He played Among Us for three months and he loved that game, for three months 20 hours a day.”

Sodapoppin also says his thoughts about gamble and how the viewers are affected and here’s what he stated; “Slots are bad, I agree. But if a kid watched me play blackjack and gambled his life savings away that’s not my problem. Morally, I don’t care, it’s not my fault. I don’t give a shit. And I’m not afraid to say it, but these guys are afraid to care about view count and say they care.”
