Single-Player Record On Steam Broken By Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 launched earlier today and it has broken the all-time single-player launch record on Steam and gathered 1 million views on Twitch platform. An Independent video games analyst Benji-Sales wowed by the unbelievable number and success of the video game and says that this has been one of the biggest launches in the history of the video game industry.

The previous record for Steam players on launch day for a single player game was Fallout4. Cyberpunk77 is one of the video games who had previously achieved the title.

Many gamers rushed to play the game and one of them is the famous Twitch streamer Shroud. He made a comment about the game. He alone gathered 100,000 viewers. He played through the game’s opening for the viewers.

The overall record for most concurrent users on a single title on Steam is still held by PUBG. Cyberpunk 2077 also launched today on other PC stores, including Epic and the CD Projekt-owned GOG, plus PlayStation, Xbox and streaming services GeForce Now and Stadia, meaning the total number of players will be even higher.
