Shroud Won’t Stream Destiny 2

From Escape From Tarkov to Apex Legends to Valorant, Michael “shroud” Grzesiek has played just about every FPS game out there. In practically every game he plays, the former professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player is noted for his amazing mechanical talents. However, fans have noted that shroud has yet to hit Destiny 2.

The streamer finally responded to viewers who had inquired as to why he wasn’t playing the popular game. In response, shroud stated that he had previously considered grinding Destiny 2 when his pals were also grinding the Bungie-developed shooter. Then shroud observed a few problems that took away the game’s allure.

It appears that Shroud has no plans to add Destiny 2 to his list of games to play. The veteran Twitch streamer explained to viewers why he hasn’t bothered with Destiny 2, and the solution is simple: he can’t stream it. Shroud explained; “Because of their restrictions on how you can capture Destiny 2 on stream, I didn’t play it. I was going to, it looked like fun… But as soon as I found out that I couldn’t capture the game on stream, I alt-F4’ed and uninstalled it instantly.”

There were a couple workarounds, according to shroud, but they weren’t good enough to warrant reinstalling. He could have captured his Destiny 2 gameplay, but it would have resulted in a “laggy” stream, according to shroud. This would have been aggravating for his fans to witness because his reactions and in-game action would have been out of sync.

Shroud hasn’t bothered to look into other options so far. On Twitch, he currently alternates between Grand Theft Auto Online, Apex Legends, Escape from Tarkov, and Valorant, attracting tens of thousands of viewers. On the streaming platform, shroud has over 10 million followers.

Apex Legends, according to shroud, is the best battle royale game right now. As of late, this has been one of his go-to titles. When it comes to battle royale games, he used to be a big fan of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, but now prefers Apex Legends.
