Shroud Gives Praise To xQc

Popular twitch streamer Shroud has recently praised Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s success on Twitch, calling him the “kingpin” of the site at the moment.

When it comes to choosing a top dog on Twitch, there are numerous options available to fans. Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins still has by far the most fans on the platform, despite his concurrent viewing counts dropping. Following him, many may refer to former Overwatch League star xQc, Brazil CS:GO personality Gaules, or Spanish streamer Ibai, who all draw large crowds whenever they go live.

A few broadcasters have voted for xQc, who offers a wide range of content and has been responsible for some of Twitch’s funniest moments in recent years. Shroud was one of them, and he had to bow to his fellow Canadian.

The former Counter-Strike hero was watching the Valorant Champions event with a few friends on December 4 when they saw his chat was overrun with xQc emotes. Justin just9n’ Ortiz asks stating; “Is everybody on Twitch subbed to xQc? This is f**king unreal, he has more subs in your chat than you have subs total!” 

According to TwitchTracker, xQc presently has over 90,000 subscribers, which is little over 15,000 more than the next closest streamer, Kkatamina. 

Shroud noted; “He was at like 100 and something thousand not too long ago. He’s the f**king kingpin baby! Bananas.”

After the streamer’s attention was drawn back to the Valorant action, a fan said that xQc is probably making roughly $500,000 per month solely from subscriptions, which riled Shroud up. “Hey, that McLaren has got to get paid off somehow, you know what I’m saying!” he added, referencing xQc’s new McLaren 720s Spider.

The two rarely team up for games together, but given their mutual admiration, who knows what can happen in the future.
