Shroud Reveals Why He Chose Twitch Over YouTube And Facebook

Streamer, Shroud, announced; “Twitch fits well with the big plans that I have in gaming. I might have some plans coming up soon… I’m not going to tell you just yet. There’s some cool things that I’m brewing up though! A lot of secrets are in my head right now, a lot”.

Michael Grzesiek, aka Shroud, returned to stream on Amazon’s owned gaming platform Twitch. Shroud, was originally streaming on Twitch before he moved over to stream on Microsoft Mixer. The reason he gave for moving over to Mixer was that it gave him many more opportunities.

Shroud, has become one of the biggest streamers on the said platform. Earlier in June, Mixer shut down and some of the fans were wondering where Shroud, would be streaming next.

Then Shroud, finally announced through a Twitter post that he was returning back to Twitch, saying; “I’m coming home”, meaning that he was going back to where he began.

Shroud, explained that he was “born and raised” on the said platform. He opened up as to why he went back to Twitch explaining to his fans that “Twitch is the best”. He chose Twitch over Facebook gaming and YouTube which merged with Microsoft. He even signed an exclusive deal with Twitch and stated that he has many future gaming plans with Twitch.

His first comeback stream on Twitch gained 500,000 concurrent viewers and he already has more than 8 million followers.
