Sexist Trolls Shut Down By Negaoryx

Twitch Streamer ‘negaoryx’ went viral a few years ago because of her reaction to a scene in The Last of Us and it also became a meme. She has once again gone viral but this time it is for shutting down a sexist troll in her latest stream live chat.

Every streamer’s struggle during livestream are the trolls, and trolls are nothing new in the Twitch community. These trolls usually target female streamers. Sometimes you ignore them but some speak and fight back. Negaoryx is one of the streamers who couldn’t take it any more and decided to shut down one of the trolls in her live chat.

During her recent live stream, a troll in her chat asked inappropriate questions and asked her about what color her underwear is and she immediately call out the user in front of her thousands of viewers and said that people need to “respect women”.

She was obviously frustrated about the user asking inappropriate questions and asked what did the user expect, that she wasn’t pleased and so she shut it down immediately. Another chatter also tried to deflect and said that she couldn’t take a joke and instead of calming down, she became mad and broke down the reasons why that excuse doesn’t work.

Negaoryx usually ignores these kinds of comments and bans them immediately but because of the reason that it was too much, she couldn’t take it any more and decided to stand up for herself and women in the community.

She made it clear that anyone can joke but make sure that if you do, you must think what kind of joke you’re saying. She said to the user that it was just being misogynistic and sexist and called it a piece of shit.

She then uploaded the clip on her Twitter account and quickly gathered lots of attention and quickly went viral. Many praised her for viewing the rant positively and how she stands up for herself by responding to toxic behaviors.
