Ryan Hart Will Host iGB Live!

Clarion Gaming, the company behind iGB Live! and iGB Affiliate Amsterdam recently announced the details of an educational esports segment hosted by professional fighting game player Ryan Hart.

The feature, dubbed iGB Live! Esports Streamers, will be live on Twitch and will include input from Clarion Gaming partners Escharts, Bayes Esports, and Skinsback.

The goal of the stream is to teach operators how to profit from the fast-growing world of esports.

According to the head of esports, William Harding, he said that the first iGB SFV tournament will be hosted live for onsite attendees and Twitch viewers by esport commentator and pro gamer Ryan Hart, who is known to set a Guinness World Record for the most consecutive opponents on Street Fighter V by going up against 260 people for 11 hours and that the activation was created to help demystify a sector whose global viewership is expected to increase from 495 million to 646 million people by 2023.

The iGB Hart Cup finals will take place on 30th of September at iGB Live!, with a prize pool of £4,000 split among the top eight Street Fighter V players.

Naomi Barton, portfolio director for iGB Live! and iGB Affiliate Amsterdam, said the iGB Live! esports Streamers feature encapsulates the value of the return of in-person events and being able to bring the industry together in person makes it easier to explain the massive and growing global market, demonstrating how the industry can reach out and engage with esports fans, the commercial weight of esports streamers when used as betting affiliates, and exactly how and which components of the esports ecosystem are relevant to the betting market.

Due to the effects of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, iGB Live! and iGB Affiliate Amsterdam have been postponed until 2021.
