Riddle’s Money And Passport Stolen

Top Canadian Smash Ultimate professional player Michael Kim AKA Riddle’s trip to the US for a tournament quickly turned into a disaster; he was trapped due to travel restrictions and his passport was also stolen.

On August 1st, Riddles managed to place fourth at the comeback tournament event in Laurel, Maryland. The event featured top-level Smash players such asCosmos and Tweek. However, while his trip should have been done and over with, the result of the health test needed for him to fly back to Canada and kept him stuck in the country for even longer.

Things went from bad to worse. After he goes back to his fellow Smasher Gimr’s car, his bag containing his passport, tournament winnings, and Nintendo Switch has been stolen.

Riddles explained they reviewed the police footage/camera and it was indeed stolen and said that two men went in the car and stole his belongings. His clothes and wallets are safe but he was put in a favorable position of having to find a new way to get home and said that the fact that he have to stay in the US for at least a couple more days is just too much and alongside with everything that just happened he begged to get hi out of the “hellhole” country.

Luckily, he found a new way to return albeit it would be one of the heck journey and said that he was able to travel to Buffalo-Toronto border without a passport since he’s a Canadian citizen and revealed that he will have to stay for two more days but the fact he have some of comfort leading his way home is gratifying and unreald. He then hopes that it goes well.

Riddle’s unfortunate experience caused him to pull out of Smash Summit and said that even if he still had his passport, he wouldn’t even go anyways because his travel experince was regardless of “fucking shit”.

However, Riddles has since changed his stance and rushing to get a new passport to compete at the prestigious fighting game tournament and hopefully, he can make it home safely without any more hassle and can return to US better and stronger once traveling isn’t that more complicated.
